Course Layout

Riverside's golf course is an 18 hole, par 72 course with 5 tee boxes. With rolling fairways, mature trees and breathtaking river view, Riverside has long been considered one of Canada's most scenic and challenging courses. The course also boasts two of the best finishing holes in golf, making use of the flowing natural terrain and vistas of the South Saskatchewan River valley below.

Practice Facilities

Riverside Country Club offers an excellent driving range featuring a Learning Centre, a three-hole short course (complete with sand bunkers), and two large practice greens to provide a complete practice facility for you to work on your game from every aspect.

Driving Range

The driving range opens half an hour prior to the first tee time and closes Tuesday and Friday mornings for maintenance (6:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.). The range closes half an hour prior to sunset each day, with the exception of Mondays and Thursdays when it is closed earlier to pick range balls. Use of the practice range and practice range balls are included in membership fees (with the exception of Social #1 membership).

Learning Centre

Riverside's Head Golf Professional, Earl Scott, & Associate Golf Professional, Chad Lavallee are members of the Professional Golfers Association of Canada. They are trained in teaching, club fitting, club repair and tournament operations and offer many different types of lessons, including group lessons, individual lessons, corporate outings, and computer assisted lessons. Earl & Chad also offer junior lessons and programs for those 5-18 years of age.

Three-Hole Short Course

There is a three-hole short course located to the left of the 9th and 13th holes that allow members to work on their short game. The greens give a variety of shot options and the bunkers will help you hone your skills.

Practice Greens

For those wanting to work on their chipping and putting skills, there are two practice greens near the clubhouse.
